What happened on the last day?


Did you have your first kiss at camp?

Lol no my first kiss was a couple years before that.

It was show choir camp, our last day was a performance. Our performance attire was supposed to be our shirt from camp tucked into white shorts, then white socks and white shoes.

I was walking around campus dressed and ready with my dad and my friend that also went to camp when an older girl walked up and told me my white shorts had a large red spot on them. So yeah I was like 13 walking around with a giant period spot on my white shorts for who knows how long. I just started bawling, it was absolutely mortifying.

My dad walked me over to the nearest bench while my friend kind of shielded me from being seen, then Dad practically sprinted to his car, drove to the nearest place he could get replacement clothes, and came back with the most ridiculous sized pads ever and slightly off white shorts like 10 minutes before we were supposed to go on.

Crisis kind of averted but still a very horrifying few minutes for a 13 year old girl.
