I want to build a small home in the hill on the other side of the creek. It is all overgrown except for some paths I cut, and there is a small section in the middle with a lot of brush but no big trees. I could clear that out, have a nice grassy area to put it in. Throw a circle door on it, grass as a roof. Pot of stew and a fire, and maybe write a book about my and my uncle's adventures.

No fucking dwarves, though, they are the goddamned worst.

Cool little tidbit about the etymology of Bag End, is that it's a loose translation of the French "cul de sac" which means "dead end" but directly translates to "ass of bag". Tolkien decided to clean it up a little, and the result was "end of bag" or "bag end".
